Well it was a long night. We arrived at the hospital a little after 11PM. Susan got started with her IV stuff and hooked up to the monitors. She progressed nicely up to the point when he was ready to be delivered. The doctor arrived in the room at 4:05AM just as I was placing calls to work letting them know that this was really happening. The doctor checked for the baby’s head and found he was ready. She said, “Let’s do this thing.” Five minutes later we had a baby boy.
